Quickstart

Send your first request through the MonsterCloud Gateway in under five minutes.

Create a workspace and copy your API key from Settings → Keys.
Add a provider key (e.g. Anthropic) under Settings → Providers, or enable pooled capacity.
Change the base URL in your existing client:

Authentication

Use a workspace key in the x-api-key or Authorization: Bearer header. Keys can be scoped to a project and a budget.

Gateway headers

Header	Example	Description
mc-policy	pii-redact	Comma-separated policy IDs to apply.
mc-fallback	claude-haiku	Ordered fallback models on error or timeout.
mc-cache	semantic	`off`, `exact` or `semantic`.
mc-tags	team=growth	Key-value tags for cost attribution.

Content Studio

Create a draft from a brief. Drafts are generated asynchronously; subscribe to the draft.ready webhook.

List prioritized opportunities for a connected site. Each item can be converted to a brief with one call.

REST API

Base URL: https://api.monstercloud.ai/v1. All responses are JSON. Rate limit: 600 requests/minute per key; see headers x-ratelimit-*.

Errors

401 — invalid or revoked key
402 — budget exceeded for key or team
422 — blocked by policy (reason in error.policy)
503 — all models in fallback chain unavailable
